Specific information for Reva and G-Wiz electric cars

Good point Phil. We must be doing something right, then.
This forum is an owners club. It's excellent though that everyone is welcome, including critical freinds. Critics of the other kind seem to expose their limitations fairly early on.

I am a recent joiner, big fan of the G-wiz (but not yet an owner). I am doing the opposite of trashing but I have been defending the G-Wiz on other foums (I believe the correct form of that word should be 'fora' but it looks wrong and I cant use it!)

The Boris Johnson article:

is briliant, the problem is it's so hard to take Boris seriously!

Yay Mark!

It seems my frequent EVing action (and mentioning it on the Prius Forums) has gotten you well and truly plugged in!

I love you MarkTime! Even though Good English is almost defunct, occasionally it's wonderful to meet someone who knows that the plural of "forum" is indeed "fora". Go on, be a devil, use it!
And I can't resist reminding everyone again that the "official" plural of "G-Wiz" is still..... "G-Wiz"! :)

Phil, while we are doing plurals the plural of Prius is Prius!

Next time the situation arises I 'will' use fora!

But it will look out of place because my spelling and punctuation are poor!

Cheers MarkTime

Come on now Phil don't play hard to get. Of the 'fora' that I frequent this is my favorite.

I did that just for you (but I did mean it).

I love to write with brackets, sometimes I use them in (proper) sentences.

The attention that the G-Wiz got due to the crash test was hardly unexpected. The group that cowers before the petroleum gods had to attack such a direct threat to their stranglehold on society. Come on, who says we should sell our bicycles, scooters and motorcycles because we could get hurt if we slam into a semi truck head-on?

Safety Concerns

Postby electricvehicles » 21 May 2007 18:43

Hi G-Wizers, Please dont take this the wrong way - I myself are agreat fan of Electric Vehicles. But before we all start slating off the Government regarding the recent crash tests perhaps we should look at the potential damage that could occur to a pedestrian. Lets be quite honest the G-Wiz only travels at 40mph top speed, average speed is said to be only 10mph. How do you think your legs would stand up to an impact ? Even at the lower speed of 10mph I dont think many people would walk away especially considering the small frontal area of the G-Wiz coupled with the 660kgs behind it.
These safety issues are only there to ensure that everyone is a safe as possible.
Perhaps we should all take a re-think regarding the safety issues. After all pedestrians are also doing there bit for the enviroment. And they also have a right to be protected from injuries fron vehicles.
