G-Wiz insurance

Postby willwhitby » 08 Jul 2008 20:36

For what it's worth the insurance on my 07 G-W is £158. Mind that could be because I'm the wrong side of 65 live in the South West of Scotland, have NCD 9 years. My insurance was obtained through my usual broker Traders and General 020 8519 5950 ask for Steve Kemp.

I just renewed with Elephant.  My cheapest online quote from other sources was £280 with 2 years NCD on my 2 year old G-Wiz.

Elephant initially quoted £256 which they reduced to £236 when I phoned them, and they also cut my excess from £350 to £200 to match what had until then been my best quote - from Adrian Flux.

I also have one named driver and class 1 business use for occasional trips to places that aren't my usual office address.  Adding the wife actually reduced my premium so it's worth exploring that option even if you don't expect your partner to drive.

Insurance in Austria

The car is parked on a driveway overnight.

It is definately worth shopping around, as some people have found differences of several hundreds of pounds.

Hi!
My Insurance (Haftpflichtversicherung)from Tiroler Versicherung is €177,30 for my Revai. :D
Unter http://www.elektrotankstellen.net findet man meine Stromtankstelle in Tirol.

OK... so can you let me have your wife's details so I can add her to my policy in order to reduce my premium?  :D

I think you've got the wrong idea there. I think you're supposed to add your wife to the policy, not someone elses :D

The cheapest quote I can get is just over 220GBP for N London. But with that website moneysavingexpert.com you can use one of the cash back sites maybe get up to about 80 quid off, so 140 a year I would be very happy with.

what insurance company is that with RDB?

I got one of my REVAs insured with MORE THAN just a month and a half ago.
I found them to be the cheapest @£280pa, with my girlfriend as second driver and with a discount for having my normal car insured with them too.
I am now looking for insurance for my other REVA. £140 wouldn't be bad at all.
