Hello From Dan @ Adrian Flux.

Hello From Dan @ Adrian Flux.

Postby DAN@ADRIAN FLUX » 02 Oct 2008 15:29

Hi everyone.
Just a short introduction. I’m Daniel. I’ve worked for Adrian Flux Insurance for nearly 18 years now.
If any of you guys on here have any general insurance queries or specific problems with Adrian Flux insurance please let me know. I can assure you I will be completely impartial despite being on the pay roll of Adrian Flux. If we have messed up I will acknowledge that and make efforts to get it corrected, if any of you do not understand an insurers viewpoint I will do my best to clearly explain it.
It could be problems ranging from simple paperwork issues to major claim disputes. With my years of experience I should be able to answer most queries immediately, if there are issues or a problem that I can’t answer directly I would ensure that a relevant manager investigates these and I would then be able to relay an answer back.
I hope this will be of some helps for you.
Thanks very much.

Daniel.

Hi Dan, and welcome to the club.  I'm sure we'll be calling on your expertise from time to time!

Incidentally, I've just renewed my car insurance for my 1954 MG Magnette. Yours was the best quote by a country mile - £83 Fully Comprehensive with a £100 excess.

£83!?!!!?!?? Crikey! I've never had a car insurance policy as cheap as that.  You sure you didn't miss a '1' off the front?

I think my pair of rollerskates would cost more than that to insure :D

ok Dan let's have a public quote for my 16 month AC Gwiz. Postcode SP6, all the other info you'll eventually need from me is all very standard stuff.

AW- With the right insurance broker, Classic Cars can be very cheap on insurance.  My dad's Sunbeam Talbot 90 Mk2a cost £89 to insure and the other two quotes I had were £103 and £99.

Well I got a quote from Adrian Flux and it was very high, more than double what we're currently paying for the same cover.
That's not to say you shouldn't give them a try, if your circumstances are different to mine they might turn out to be the cheapest.  And although she asked me what the engine size was on the Reva, the person I dealt with was courteous throughout.

Adrian Flux provided me with a quote for my 1954 MG Magnette - £85 compared to the £100 I was quoted elsewhere.  They were also about £50 cheaper on my MG ZS.

Haven't tried them on the G-Wiz yet... the insurance doesn't run out until next July.
